Applicants meeting the conditions below cannot apply:

1) A-) As of the 2022-2023 academic year, candidates who register at secondary education institutions in Türkiye and who have graduated/will graduate from secondary education shall be placed in higher education institutions in our country and the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) solely via the YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) starting from the year 2026 (excluding embassy schools, international private education institutions included in the MOBİS system, and foreign nationals brought to our country within the framework of projects carried out by the Ministry of National Education),

B-) Candidates who registered at secondary education institutions in Türkiye and/or graduated prior to the 2022-2023 academic year shall also be evaluated within the scope of item (a).

2) Those who have lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining a renunciation permit from the Ministry of Interior,

3) Those who certify that they hold a Blue Card (Mavi Kart), which is issued upon request to those who have lost their Turkish citizenship,

4) Turkish (T.C.) citizens who have completed their entire secondary (high school) education in Türkiye or the TRNC,

5) Dual citizens, one of whose nationalities is TRNC (excluding those who completed their entire secondary (high school) education in TRNC high schools and hold GCE AL results, and those who enrolled and studied in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010 and hold or will hold GCE AL exam results),

6) Turkish (T.C.) citizens, or dual citizens whose first nationality at birth was Turkish (as defined in item 2 of clause a), who study at schools operating under embassies in Türkiye or at foreign high schools located in Türkiye.
